Intellect + Stam or Agility +Stam
All your quest rewards from Hellfire are going to give you Agility, Stamina and Attack power. That’s really awesome for both you and your pet. Once you start getting into Zangarmarsh, you’ll start to see more gear with Agility, Intellect and Attack power. It really isn’t too hard to get gear. There is Mail gear in Outlands with Intellect, stamina Mana/5 and spell ratings, but those are more aimed towards 80 Nightelf Hunter – Queen of Typos Sylverra 69 Human Warlock Stormscale Server levaks wrote:And you Ayrianna you are the tupical noob hunter that everyone hates in BGs..the hunter that do arena just to get the axe.. THE dumbest reason to melee I’ve ever heard
skribs wrote:Oh yeah, and she had a survival hunter on a different server, which she said “On my other hunter wing clip stuns them.” It can immobilize if they have the talents in it. Low percentage chance to do so but since you can wing clip every 1.5 seconds, eventually you’re going to get lucky. I’d have asked her to point out where it says that Wing Clip slows their attack speed. As far as I know, it’s just a movement speed thing. If I’m wrong and their is an attack speed debuff with it…meh…good to know. If I’m right, then the next logical point to the discussion is to ask her what the benefit to slowing their movement speed might be if you let the mob just stand there and whack the snot out of you (or the tank) anyways. Hunter changes and The Shade of Aran
yeah, why would you fd drink during flame wreath? you can keep attacking you just can’t move. Also, since when does anyone run out of mana on a shade fight? he drops almost as fast as maiden does. With the Ranged distance reduced we can now stay near the center of the room and not have to worry about that stupid blizzard anymore. The range change has also made a lot of the Kara trash pulls a bit easier as well, Corners and hallways were always a pain due to range distance and LOS. Savagery vs. 35 Agi
Basically it is a question of how good your gear currently is. +35agi is always the best enchant for SV hunters (obviously). For BM and MM hunters it is a bit closer. If your gear is at least Karazhan level +35agi is the better enchant. If you are still in greens or blues, Savagery (+70AP) is better. If you plan to raid a lot +35agi becomes the better enchant a little of kings being the main reason, since you then compare 38.5agi vs 70ap).-Hunter FAQ SW 6/6; Thori’dal, the Stars’ Fury more bag space since Oct 28 It’s actually really simple. IF YOU ARE SV GO AGI. IF YOU ARE NOT GO AP. And go to wowwiki.com to find the conversion rates (0.025 crit per agility at level 70, or 40 agility per 1 crit).-comma long-slash comma comma asterick underscore asterick comma comma long-slash commaI think it all depends on your spec. If your survival i think you will get much more outa the 35 agility enchant. If your marksman or bm you may find more use outa the 70 attack power savagry enchant. i think it all comes down to personal preference really. do you want solid white damage or insane
help me with my gear – RAIDING
You’re on the right track. Gems and enchants. Gems and enchants. EVERYTHING gemmed and enchanted. That will be your biggest upgrade. A scope on the bow as well (unless you get that hard to get drop, or buy a Valanos). I cry just a little when I see a Sonic Spear or Terrok’s Quill that doesn’t so much as have savagery on it, much less +35 agi. You’re set on leggings, so go get a Cobrahide leg armor patch for them (unless you know a genorous LW who will craft nethercobra for you). I prefer the Beast Lord Shoulders for the trap cooldown with your leggings. But whichever shoulders you get first will do. (You’ll want that cooldown reduction for fights like Moroes). Similarly, don’t just focus on Laughing Skull, but try for the Beast Lord chestpiece as well (although odds are the LSBH will drop first). I’m not a big fan of your Ogre Slayer band. I would upgrade that the first chance you get. Your helm is “ok,” but you could afford to upgrade it. I’d go for the quest chain to get the Stalkers Helm of Second Sight (and damn the socket bonus, put 3 +AP gems in it), or run Mech for the Beast Lord helm. Once you get your helm settled, grab the Glyph of Ferocity for it from CE. Look at the pre-raid checklist sticky for a list of enchants you will want (including the Aldor/Scryer shoulder enchants, etc) You’re not too far off. Good luck.
What would you suggest I do here?
I need some advice on what I plan on doing at lvl 40 Currently I am a lvl 35 BM spec’d hunter.Once I hit lvl 40 I plan on going through the instance in the Deadmines, more commonly known as VC.
-I am currently a lvl 115 Enchanter. -I need gold for my mount and new mail items once I hit 40. What to do with my items? a) Go through the mines repeatedly and disenchant all items I come across(or sell the blues DE greens?), use these items to lvl up my enchanting. Then once I get past lvling up my enchanting i will start to sell any blue that I come across and DE any greens to sell b) Do constant VC runs and profit in anyway possible, by selling blues and DE greens I am guessing, until I am quite happy with my mount/equips. Then once I get that I will continue doing some more runs until I surpass the strange dust/magic essence enchantment area. c)A combination of both, split up DE mats and sell Blue. 1/2 my DE mats will go to lvling enchantment while the other will go to profitting. I am leaning towards either B or C. B seems to make the most sense, better runs What pet will I need? -Currently Have the pet Washte Pawne, a wind serpent, and an owl from the NE starting locale (my owl is lvl 25
Need gear help.
Arm says that your hit is at 10, which is horrible. You need to be at 142, w/o having/being a draenei, and having surefooted. I’m not sure what the cap is with draenei.if you’re not hit capped hit gems are the best. If you can anticipate getting gear with hit, it might be better to just use ap gems. plan out what gear you want in the near future and base your decisions off that. Would +hit gems be my best bet?-I attribute the now astounding number of Asian women with huge knockers to the addition of more beef in the Asian diet.Look at the sticky at the top, pre-raid gearlist. Tons of craftables, and gear from non-heroics. Actually, by the looks of your gear, you should be ready for Kara. Just re-gem and re-enchant a bit. Edited, May 21st 2008 5:45pm by YuppleyI am currently in a guild that could barely handle Shattered Halls. Most of the people are just now hitting 70 so i’ve done pugs where I can to try to get gear. But it seems I have hit a wall as far as which instances I can get into with the gear I currently have. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can improve my gear by rep, crafting or questing unil the other folks in my guild catch up a bit? Also any other advice is appreciated.
Killing Paladins as BM
yeah….. you kind of ran into the reason why BM fails in arena.
Anything that can survive your BW wins. (well, almost anything)
You basically want to drain and control them as much as you can. Slow them down with frost traps, keep your scoprid and viper sting on them as much as possible. (if you dont use a scorpid it’s more or less a lost match already as no halfway decent pala is going to leave Viper on him) Basically, you want to attack their mana bars, not their healthbars. Because when they are out of mana, they cant do crap anymore. However, to do that you need a whole lot of control. And control isnt BM’s strongest point. I would advise you to try out (and practise a lot bevcause it’s insanely much harder to play right) the 11/41/9 build. You need to think of a lot more things, but once you get used to it you’ll have much more control over your opponent.- God Emperor of Hunters and Priest Forum Mean Person.
