PvP skills for the pet2010-03-16I tamed King B for PvP as well, but I just started doing PvP so don't really know what best yet. So far I've given mine: Growl, Claw, Dash, Prowl, Natural Armor and Frost Resist.
Prowl - so I can try to pounce on unsuspecting Horde or maybe for stealthed scouting.
Frost Resist - since my pet and I were constantly getting frosted or frozen while the Horde Hunters King B wasn't, so I was hoping the Frost Resist would help.
I like King B for PvE too, which is why I gave him growl, but since it seems to be completly ineffective in PvP it would probably be best to train Bite instead of Growl.

Intellect + Stam or Agility +Stam2010-03-13All your quest rewards from Hellfire are going to give you Agility, Stamina and Attack power. That's really awesome for both you and your pet. Once you start getting into Zangarmarsh, you'll start to see more gear with Agility, Intellect and Attack power. It really isn't too hard to get gear. There is Mail gear in Outlands with Intellect, stamina Mana/5 and spell ratings, but those are more aimed towards 80 Nightelf Hunter - Queen of Typos

It can immobilize if they have the talents in it. Low percentage chance to do so but since you can wing clip every 1.5 seconds, eventually you're going to get lucky.
I'd have asked her to point out where it says that Wing Clip slows their attack speed. As far as I know, it's just a movement speed thing. If I'm wrong and their is an attack speed debuff with it...meh...good to know. If I'm right, then the next logical...

Savagery vs. 35 Agi2010-03-05Basically it is a question of how good your gear currently is.
+35agi is always the best enchant for SV hunters (obviously).
For BM and MM hunters it is a bit closer. If your gear is at least Karazhan level +35agi is the better enchant. If you are still in greens or blues, Savagery (+70AP) is better.

Gems and enchants. Gems and enchants. EVERYTHING gemmed and enchanted. That will be your biggest upgrade. A scope on the bow as well (unless you get that hard to get drop, or buy a Valanos).

You're set on leggings, so go get a Cobrahide leg armor patch for them (unless you know a genorous LW who will craft nethercobra for you).
I prefer the Beast Lord Shoulders for the trap cooldown with your leggings. But whichever shoulders you get first will do. (You'll want that cooldown reduction for fights like Moroes). Need gear help.2010-03-02Arm says that your hit is at 10, which is horrible. You need to be at 142, w/o having/being a draenei, and having surefooted. I'm not sure what the cap is with draenei.if you're not hit capped hit gems are the best.
